Medjay and Khensa are royal children of vassal states within Nubia.
They represent the race of Darfur and are themselves slaves of Nubia.
Brought to Egypt as children they were the adopted children of the royal family.
The term Peer Beloved Companion refers to the exhalted position of a royal child of foreign origin who was the closest companion or twin even of an Egyptian royal personage.
Khensa is the Peer Beloved of Princess Isis. Medjay of Akhenaten.
The two Darfur Nubians work complicity with the Egyptians to defeat the hostile Nubian Queen who has taken Nefertiti hostage.
