Lady Dey a princess of the extinct Kingdom of Crete has been Queen Tiye's Peer Beloved Companion since both were young children. Though she is a servant of the royal family in description, Dey is Tiye's closest ally and confidant.
She represents an extinct lineage, whose home land was destroyed by acts of the Gods ( Thera volcanic explosion destroyed Minoan and Cretan civilizations) She is a master healer and the most ethical and intellegent of all the characters. Lady Dey is in most ways, the mother and spiritual inspiration to the entire royal family.
She is also highly respected by the Egyptian army who admired her father a courageous prince that fought with Amenhotep's father in a victorious war.
No one in the court would dare to speak with insolence to Lady Dey and yet she has no enemies.
